Interview: BAI BANG
Hi there Joacim and Bai Bang, its a great pleasure to talk with you. I have got some questions for you which your fans
are very intrested to know.
1. Please introduce your band to us first, tell us where it all started.
Joacim: Hello everybody, My name is Joacim Sandin and Im the bassplayer in the Swedish rockband Bai Bang and have been so since 1995, I wasnt in the band from the beginning, I think the band has been around since 1989.
2. We also want to know something about your current album "Are you ready" - How long was the time of recording who wrote the main songs and whats it all about?
Joacim: Did the first songs a couple of years ago but the recordings just took us a few months time.Its about life in general, sex drugs and rock n roll :-) We..re not trying to save the whales or anything, its a partyalbum.
3. This year you were in Germany and played the Wacken Rocks South and also the Wacken Rocks Seaside. What are your memories when you remembering those gigs? And what about the crowd i am sure they loved you, don`t they? And how do you like Germany from what you can say by visiting those two days? Or did you stay longer?
Joacim: We had to cancel those 2 shows bit we played at wacken Open Air and it was great, it was much better than the last time we played there. We love to play in Germany, the crowd is always great.
4. Have you all got other musical projects besides Bai Bang so if one of you have other projects?
Joacim: I think its only Pelle at the moment, he..s got some crappy coverband.
5. Whats Bai Bang doing at the moment? Already new recordings, touring?
Joacim: We are playing as much as we can and we have already been looking on some new songs for our next record.
6. You already played with many famous bands.... can you remember of which ones you enjoyed playing together with most?
Joacim: We got very close to the guys in Union and Alice Coopers band, we still have contact with those guys.
7. As theres only this myspace page i know i would like to know if you already did video clips to some of your songs or if not if something this way is planned?
Joacim: We are working on a new video, dont know when we will release it though, all our old videos can be found on youtube.
8. How many Street Teams have you got all over there? More supporting stuff planned?
Joacim: I really dont know, we have a contact in the states thats managing all that stuff.
9. I would like to know Sweden has got many cool sleaze and glam bands wich ones would you recommend us to have a listen to besides Bai Bang ;-?
Joacim: I haven..t really listen to them to be honest, my favourite swedish band is Hardcore Superstar.
10. Last but not least please leave some final words for all your friends all over the world.
