Interview: SEVENTH CALLING

Hello there Steve and Seventh Calling, how are you doing? Hope all is well on your side? I am very glad to have you as my interview guest. So I got the following questions for you:
1. Please introduce Seventh Calling to us first of all!
Steve: "I would be happy to Susi. First of all I would like to thank you for having me as your interview guest, very awesome! Alright, Seventh Calling is, Alex Ritchey-Lead Guitar. Shannon Frye-Drums/Percussion. Marc Flores-Bass Guitar. And myself, Steve Handel-Lead Vocals/Guitar".
2. So congratulations on your record deal with Heaven and Hell records! Your album is supposed to be released in mid may. So we are all very exited about the release. So can you already tell me and the reads something bout the recordings sessions and the writing of Epidemic?
Steve: "Thanks!!!! Yes, May 22nd actualy. The Recording sessions went well. Everything went quite smooth, much to my personal surprise!
3. Thanks for telling us and now we want to ask if the writing process of the album had taken a long time or was it on the short run?
Steve: The writing process for the album was rather quick. We had the album, save 1 song, written in a month of total time. Then we sat in our rehearsal studio and played all of them many times before we went to record. The lyric writing was different. This took some time. All of our songs are stories, or a plot to them, each with a conclusion. So I had fun with this writing because it was challenging to a point."
4. What is Seventh Calling doing at the moment besides waiting on the release and playing concerts soon?
Steve: "We are already beginning to write for the next album! And right now, I am personally relaxing with crown royal!!!"
5. And which of the concerts are going to be the biggest ones for you? And which of them are you most looking forward to play at? I see you will also play together with my friends Beyond Fallen by the way!
Steve: "That is right. We have played with Beyond Fallen, and have another date in the future with them. The biggest ones I cannot say yet, as all are waiting for confirmation. However, I know that we are going to be coming to Europe next year for some time. We will be playing with CAGE soon on a one off date this summer, and I do believe there will be a MALICE show as well.
6. I also learnt that Cruz Del Sur’s Widow will join you on some of the dates too... how did it come to this? Have you arranged it yourself? I am a huge fan of them too I have to say.... and most of the cool bands i discovered on myspace.
Steve: "This has been arranged by Heaven and Hell Records/Seventh Calling/and Widow. Each of us have played a part for the planning of this tour. I am really looking forward to it. And the guys in Widow are excellent guys, so the tour will go very good. Seventh Calling and Widow are together for 10 dates with us."
7. Which reactions have you got from people who already listened to Single " Test of Time" ? Did many people used the free download you offered?
Steve: "That I actualy do not know. This is all handled by our label."
8. What are your future plans with Seventh Calling?
Steve: "Well like I had mentioned before, we are waiting to announce tour plans for this coming fall season, and after that we are planning on the next album to be written before the end of the year, and have that ready before we embark for our trip to Europe."
9. As I am doing some little promotions for you band... i am happy to do this and I thank you for always providing the latest bands news to me. I am so lucky to help you out and I am really happy that we got this great cooperation. And I hope we can work out on further cooperations also. Would be very amazing to represent your band here in Germany! What do you think?
Steve: "I would very much enjoy working with you again Susi. Does that mean you would cruise with us on tour if you represented us!!

Steve: "It has truly been my pleasure to be interviewed by you. HOT!!
