Interview: Angels of Babylon
RHINO
1. When did the story of Angels of Babylon begin?
Rhino: Back in 2008..i met dave fefolt on myspace..he wanted me to play drums on a studio project he was involved in. we decided together to form a band..i just loved his vocal style! i told him i already had songs written ready to go. i have been writing these songs over the years in my home studio.
2. What does Angels of Babylon stand for, who got the idea to name the band AOB?
Rhino: It just sounded really epic. dave fefolt came up with it.
3. Another question is: Where and when did you meet David Ellefson?
Rhino: While in the studio with dave fefolt, dave ellefson was in another room recording bass tracks for another project. we called him in to talk and asked him if he would be interested in being the bass player for AOB and he said yes.
4. So Dave re-joined Megadeth and you are surely working with some other bands of course too like Holy Hell. How did you manage all those bands and what does Dave Mustaine say that Dave Ellefson is playing together with RHINO and those other amazing musicians?
Rhino: For me its easy to play in several bands because not one of them is touring very much...i would like it to be different, but its just the way it is. bands just do go out and tour for a whole year anymore..now your lucky to get a good month in and thats all it might be for the whole year. personally, i dont think mustaine cares what is going on outside of megadeth. he probably has no idea who i am.
5. So we talked about you and Dave... now please tell us what the others of your band. Which projects are they into at the moment?
Rhino: Ethan brosh has a solo guitar hero record..you know, shredder style. dave fefolt is involved in another band called firewolf.
6.What are Angels of Babylon doing at the moment? Are you recording new material? What are you up to? And what are your future plans with AOB?
Rhino: At the moment, we are planning a tour..if any promoters out there are interested, contact me..hailrhino@aol.com. i am always writing new material..we want to tour the world.

7. When will we see you guys on the road again?
Rhino: Hopefully as soon as possible.
8. And another thing i want to ask if I am allowed to... Are you still in touch with Joey and Manowar? Or did you all go separate ways since you left the band back then?
Rhino: I see joey and the guys in manowar all the time when holyhell tour with them. they are like my second family..the guys in manowar work hard and they deserve everything they have going for them..
9. Now some none music and non band related questions. Which music do you listen to in your freetime?
Rhino: i like to listen to the classics..iron maiden, judas priest, dio, sabbath. never hip hop or rap!!! rap is short for crap!
10. Hope you will have enough time to spent this christmas with your beloved family. So what are your wishes for this years christmas?
Rhino: We are all healthy.
